In October I went to Ft. Irwin to photograph the main post and some surrounding areas. While waiting for our guide I saw a humvee doing some patrol runs. Hard to beat early morning light!

Oasis of the Seas

A good friend of mine and I went on a cruise this summer. We had an amazing time. Using my Canon 7D, Canon 580Ex II flash, and an underwater EWA-Marine bag, I was able to capture these images.

Pam and the R-1

This image shows the power of photoshop. I used multiple lights and multiple exposures to light the bike. I mounted the camera on a tripod for this. After I was satisfied with the lighting on the bike, I put Pam on there and shot a range of poses. This particular pose was one of the best. After all the images were completed, I then merged about 10 photos of the bike together, then added Pam as the final touch. Did some adjustments to extend the seamless background, and the photo is complete.

Final day of shooting for 2011 Austin Toros Dance Team Calendar

Today I photographed Brittney and Leti. Both did great in spite of the sub 50 degree temp.! With exception of some goosebumps, we got some great shots!

Shoot the Austin Ballet is always a treat. It's hard not to get a great shot. The subjects, the music, the lighting... all of it... just beautiful.

Test Shoot with Lee B.

Early this Summer Lee asked me to do some test shots of him. This is one of the results. I used Lightroom to do the processing. Some say he looks a little like Keanu Reeves. I can see it...

Sneak peek at the Toro's Calendar

One of 500+ photos that I shot for the Austin Toro's Calendar. Come see the Toros at the Cedar Park center and learn how to get your very own copy.

Time for a fresh start

My goal is to have a new photography blog started by the end of this week. In addition, I resolve to keep this blog up to date in the new year. I plan to have behind the scenes coverage of my photo shoots, as well as tutorials on my processing techniques.

Stay tuned. And come back often.
